This original Janet Moore painting is of a warm, sunny day in September in Nelson, B.C. The single track mountain biking trail is called "Fairly High" and winds up Toad Mountain to the Silver Creek Mine. A four-and-a-half mile tramway was built in the late 1800's to bring ore down from the Silver King mine to the Hall Mines smelter. Some of the tramway is still present as you ride the trails underneath it.
